Salvation

John.3:[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Here we have a promise from God. He sent His Son to die for your sins. Not just yours but the entire world. God loves His creation and wants all of us to trust in Him. There is no one left out. God sent His Son to die for EVERYONE.

Rom.3:[10] As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
3:[23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Since we are human we find we are all sinners before God. None of us are good enough to get to Heaven. We stand with our sins on us and all of the guilt.

Rom.5:[8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God has a plan to remove our sin and guilt from us. He took our sin and guilt and placed it on the perfect Son of God Jesus Christ. Jesus died for the guilt of our sin and took it to Hell in our place.

Rom.6:[23] For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We have all earned death because of our sin. But God has provided a way to obtain eternal life instead of eternal death. It is God’s gift to everyone.

Rom.10:[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

If you want to become a Christian and receive forgiveness you must trust in Jesus.

1) Acknowledge you are a sinner before God.

2) Repent of your sins.

3) Ask God for forgiveness

4) Give your heart to Jesus and ask Him to come in.

5) Believe in God’s forgiveness through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

6) Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus.

Jesus did all the work for your salvation. Put your trust in His shed blood for you.
