Seven Truths

SEVEN TRUTHS

I would like to share with you this morning seven truths from the Word of God. The Bible says in

Romans 3:[4] God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Truth number one: Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Matt.14:[33] Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

Born of the Spirit of God and the virgin Mary, Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners. So that you and I do not have to pay the price for our sins.

Truth number two: There is only one way to be saved and meet the Father.

John.14:[6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

You cannot come to the Father through good works, religion, the pope or Mary but only through Jesus Christ.

Truth number three: Jesus Christ suffered, died and resurrected for our salvation.

Acts.26: [21] For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me.

[22] Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

[23] That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

[24] And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad.

[25] But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.

Through His suffering and death we have received payment for our sins and through His resurrection we have new birth and eternal life.

Truth number four: There is hope for those who believe in Jesus as Savior.

Col.1: [1] Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

[2] To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

[3] We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

[4] Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

[5] For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

[6] Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

In this world there is nothing of eternal value. It is only through the shed blood of Jesus we have eternal hope.

Truth number five: God wants everyone to be saved.

1Tim.2:[4] Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

God’s offer of forgiveness extends from pauper to prince and to everyone in between. There is no one too evil to receive forgiveness of their sins.

Truth number six: Those who reject the truth are condemned.

2Thes.2: [7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

If you reject the offer you are condemned to a devil’s Hell. A place not designed for you but through your sins you will go there if you reject God’s love and truth.

Truth number seven: There is an eternal place of peace for those who receive the truth.

Rev.22: [1] And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

[2] In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

[3] And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

[4] And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

[5] And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

[6] And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

[7] Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

How about you this morning? Are you prepared? Have you received the truth
